Vulcano is the nearest island to the Sicilian coast, from which leave the main connection means with Aeolian Islands. Milazzo harbour, which can be reached by the motorways A20 Messina-Palermo, then Milazzo junction, offers good connections to Vulcano. In fact, plenty of hydrofoils and ferries carrying people and vehicles, leave daily from Milazzo harbour. All of them land on Vulcano Island and it takes a short time by hydrofoil.
