Vulcano Island

Vulcano is about  21 Sqm and it’s the third island for extension among the Eolie . The island is characterized by a plateau made of lava and tuff , the most famous beach is named  “ Black sands “ , with an extremely pure black sand which came out directly from the volcano  . On the other seaside ( Spiaggia levante)  , You can find the mudd bath and the sea part named  “Acque calde “ ( warm water ) . Vulcano is definitely  an island to discover : the sea with stones , faraglioni and exclusive beaches ;  amazing sea views , daily excursions on foot to the top of the main volcano and to Gelso ( the other side of the island ) and more unforgettable places to visit .

How to reach Vulcano: fast ferry and slow ferries from Milazzo. It’s anyway possible to reach directly the island from Naples, Palermo, Messina and Reggio Calabria.
